What is IVF? (watch in Konkani)
IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) is a treatment in which eggs and sperm are brought together in a laboratory, and a resulting embryo is placed back into the womb. The video walks through the whole path in plain language: the first visit to a fertility clinic and the tests that guide planning — including the AMH blood test and the husband's semen analysis — the daily injections that help the ovaries grow several eggs, the monitoring scans, the egg collection (OPU) done under short anaesthesia, fertilisation in the laboratory, growing the embryo to the blastocyst stage, and the embryo transfer.

What is IUI? (watch in Konkani)
IUI (intrauterine insemination) is a simpler treatment in which prepared, concentrated sperm is placed directly into the womb around the time of ovulation, giving the sperm a shorter path to the egg. The video explains when IUI is a reasonable option, what actually happens on the day, and how it differs from IVF.

Sperm preparation for IUI (shown and explained, in Konkani)
Before an IUI, the semen sample is prepared in the laboratory: the most active, healthy-moving sperm are separated and concentrated away from the rest of the sample, so that what is placed into the womb is a small, concentrated volume of the best-moving sperm. This video actually shows the preparation being carried out in the lab and explains why each step matters — the kind of detail most explanations leave out.

AMH is a blood test that gives a rough idea of how many eggs are likely still available — not egg quality, and not whether pregnancy is possible. A low result changes how a treatment plan is approached rather than deciding the outcome on its own.
