Nobody at home will know

Saudi Arabia's Indian community is large, and in many cities it is also close — one office, one compound, one family circle, one chemist who recognises your face. For a lot of patients who call us, that closeness is exactly the problem, and a hospital a full journey away in another country is the plainest solution to it.

Privacy here is not a policy statement, it is how the visit is actually run — who you meet, where you wait, what is written down and where it is kept. Nothing about your visit is shared with anyone outside the room: not family, not an employer, not a caller who says they know you. Staff are trained over years to ask nothing beyond what your care requires. Many of the women we see are unmarried, which changes nothing about how they are treated here.

Why Goa

There is no direct flight between Saudi Arabia and Goa; most patients connect through Mumbai, Delhi or one of the Gulf hubs, with a shorter flight on to Goa at the far end. It is a longer journey than from the UAE or Qatar, which is exactly why the phone consultation matters so much here — it settles what you can expect before you spend on tickets, not after.

Sooner is simpler

For termination of pregnancy, treatment is smaller and safer the earlier it happens — less intervention, quicker recovery, and more of the options still open, including the medication route, which stops being suitable early. If you are arranging travel from Saudi Arabia, that planning takes time, so start the conversation as soon as you can. An ectopic pregnancy is not a termination

An ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that has settled outside the womb, usually in a fallopian tube. It is a different medical condition, and an emergency, not a termination — which is exactly why the arrival scan is always done first. Read about ectopic pregnancy.
